The YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy after being discharged sorted out his action plan for future fighting for Special Status. Today he wrote an open letter to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu requesting Babu not to invite him to the grandeur event that will be happening on October 22nd. He made a detailed list of reasons.
Jagan avers “I am not attending the ceremony because of your failure in responding to my protests and complaints regarding your forceful acquisition of multi-yielding crops from the farmers in the capital region. Why are the sections 30 and 144 being implemented in the capital region for the last one year even after your claims that the people in the region are happy?”
He further said, “I am not attending the inaugural ceremony because of your dictatorial ways that even opposed the courts, people and even the National Green Tribunal. I am not attending the ceremony in a protest against your tyranny while acquiring the assigned lands of poor people in the capital region. I am not attending the ceremony and not supporting your corruption while you give away the lands of poor people to foreign and Singaporean companies on a quid-pro basis for commissions and bribes.“
He makes it clear that the reason behind his absence during the foundation laying ceremony is the government’s ill treatment of the people and their problems. He calls the ceremony only a business meet for Chandrababu to divert lakhs of rupees calling it real estate business. Let’s see what Chandrababu has to respond about this open letter.
